Job Summary

As a Content Marketer, your role will encompass drafting editorial calendars for VWO s digital platforms and crafting content for marketing, product, and other teams around the various use cases and features of VWO.

What does the role entail?

  • Content Creation: Work with various members of the marketing team to create engaging and informative content for VWO s target audience across formats including blogs, ebooks, long-form guides, social media posts, video scripts, landing pages, emails, and more.
  • Content Performance Optimization: Revisit and analyze previously-published content to uncover optimization opportunities and revamp it accordingly for better conversions.
  • Liaise With Cross-Functional Teams: Work with the design team to get relevant design creatives produced and with the development team to publish/optimize content on the website post thorough QA.
  • SEO Understanding: Have a basic understanding of SEO so as to create search engine optimized content while adhering to internal checklists and optimize for rankings.
  • Secondary Research, Analysis, and Strategy: Conduct industry research and analyze internal data to contribute towards creating content strategies.
  • Primary Research: Interview customers to get a better understanding of how they utilize the product and incorporate their voice into the content creation process.

KRA ownership:

  • Primary KRA: Number of MQLs generated
  • Secondary KRA: Traffic, content throughput, content innovation.

Some other functions you would be working with

  • Design: To ensure all content collaterals are visually appealing and in accordance with design guidelines
  • Web Development: To publish content, do a thorough QA, and ensure a seamless reading experience for visitors
  • Product: To understand the technical features of the product and incorporate the same technical expertise into your content creation process
  • Brand and Media: To create content for various brand activities as well as that for social media channels

Meeting expectations as a Content Marketer:

  • Having good command on language, content writing, and marketing design understanding
  • Ability to produce content based on business needs while balancing SEO considerations
  • Optimizing existing content for business metrics
  • Excelling as a Content Marketer:

  • Having a firm understanding of the product and the customer
  • Preemptively and proactively produce content
  • Build GTM plans for any content produced and executing the plans
  • Reporting and working relationship

    You will be reporting into Siddhartha Kathpalia, Senior Product Marketing Manager. You will work closely with the Product, and Marketing teams/sub-functions.
