Job Description

We are seeking a talented QA Automation Engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team. They should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills. The key function automation QA Engineers is writing scripts and creating automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, they design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Their goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code. This way you would optimize the testing that otherwise would consume a large percentage of test resources. Thus A skilled QA Automation Engineer should design and write efficient test procedures for every software application.

Responsibilities:

Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system
Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;
determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios;
Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
build test automation frameworks;
log and document bugs in the tracking system;
set up Continuous Integration.
Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
Designing and installing software databases.
Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field.
Previous experience working as a QA Automation Engineer.
Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases.
Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VBScript.
Excellent analytical skills.
Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Good project management skills.
