Job Summary
Description
- Design, develop and execute test cases.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results.
- Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected.
- Operate and maintain test networks and generate historical analysis of test results.
- Document anomalies and issue and maintain their database
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Requirements
- Worked as a Quality Analyst (2+ years) as part of a wider development team, pairing with Devs and ideally Business Analysts.
- Experience with Agile, code management(git), deployment strategies, and different types of nonfunctional testing
- Solid understanding of best practices such as TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and the Practical Test Pyramid
- Experience with API automation, are comfortable in databases and love to write simple code in order to test applications
- Comfortable with different types and techniques in functional testing including exploratory, boundary value analysis, and equivalence partitioning
- Exposure to and experience in using defect tracking and management tools
- Have an understanding of Selenium (good to have), Maven/Gradle, TestNG, and Java
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
