Job description

Responsibilities:

Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

Evaluate product code according to specifications.

Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Review and analyze system specifications.

Collaborate withDevelopers and team to develop effective strategies and test plans for advance testing.

Create logs to document testing phases and defects.

Report bugs and errors to development teams and coordinate.

Help troubleshoot issues.

Requirements and skills:

Report defects and assist in their understanding.

Analyze test results and track software testing metrics.

Prepare and present test reports.

Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.

Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.

Execute tests (manual / automated)

Execute testing (Mobile/Web)

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role specifically for MERN /LAMP

Experience in project management and QA methodology.

Must have PM tool knowledge.

Familiarity with new technologies and its testing is a plus.

Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL

Excellent communication skills.

Attention to detail and Time Management skills.

Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.

Strong organizational skills.

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent)

1+ years of relevant work experience/ trained testing freshers can also apply.

Knowledge of at least one programming/ scripting language

Knowledge of at least one database management system

Proficiency in written and spoken English
