Job Summary
Job Description :
- Managing and maintaining the network, as well as network performance monitoring
- Identifying, installing, and maintaining upgrades to the network
- Setup, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and training to engineering staff for supported tools and infrastructure.
- Enhance existing and implement new tools to integrate with continuous delivery of systems and reporting.
- Work closely with management and technical teams on understanding the overall direction/scope of various projects and translate those into effective processes and artifacts.
- Provide effective solutions to complex Network Management engineering problems.
- Experience in DNS, Cisco IOS, Spectrum, HPNA, VPN, and Network Administration
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and practices.
- Ability to multi-task with numerous activities running concurrently
- Experience as a Network Monitoring Tools (NMT).
- SME Experience with any of the following: BMC Entuity, BMC Network Automation, Spectrum, HP NNM, HPNA, Solarwinds Orion
- Problem-solving.You re often the first person called upon to deal with a problem, so troubleshooting and understanding key systems are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills,both written and verbal, as you ll deal with technically-minded employees and non-technical colleagues alike.
