Job Summary

Key Responsibilities


Business Development (BD)

  • To continuously work to achieve new business opportunities and organizing Team meetings or setting up con-calls with senior management.
  • Explore BD opportunities across core sectors and geographies and travel with senior management at short notices
  • To identify new opportunities for existing clients and communicate to manager

Client service delivery/execution

  • Execute the work on a multiple client base
  • Supporting in preparation of Information Memorandums, Financial Models, Pitch presentations, Project reports and/or Teasers
  • Travelling at the client locations to ensure closure of Information gaps and/or execution related work as and when required
  • Network internally within the peer group and other levels in the firm in order to gain understanding of issues that may impact issues with his/her clients

Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities.
  • Understand the concept of risk management and is able to bring to focus risk issues on client assignments and take issues to the notice of the manager/supervisor.

Knowledge Management

  • Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improve processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge on ongoing basis.

Technical Skills

  • Strong team-player with experience with working in a dynamic organisation and able to build bridges between the different stakeholders within the organisation
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box, to challenge status quo
  • Strong communication and influencing skills; collaborative and a team player

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years working experience in Operations and Business development pertaining to Investment banking and/or Consulting and Advisory.
  • Exposure to Business development, execution and/or primary & secondary research.
  • Should have worked across various deals and closed Debt syndication, private equity, M&A advisory transactions and/or Consulting/advisory assignments
  • Have good working experience of financial modelling, preparation of marketing collaterals and investor relationships

Education

  • Any Bachelor s degree, Chartered Accountant
