Job ResponsibilitiesViasat has developed and deployed the next generation of high capacity broadband satellites representing the most significant capacity leap in the history of satellite communications. With Viasat, as a vertically integrated in-flight connectivity and internet service provider, you will be instrumental in helping deliver capabilities to numerous customers, in the air and on the ground.
As a key member of the OPS Development team, you will work with business process owners, systems analysts, and core business stakeholders to enhance and extend Oracle EBS R12 applications and integrate to and from other applications. You will participate and be a key contributor to the design, development, test and implementation of vital application functionality and integrations that will have near and long-term impact.
You'll use tools such as Oracle Application Framework, Oracle PL\SQL, Workflow, Forms Personalization, XML or BI-Publisher, 10g Developer Suite for Forms and Reports, custom.pll, and others to deliver these solutions.
What youll get to do:- Work closely with business leaders as well as senior level developers to design, develop, and test new solutions and extend the functionality of Oracle EBS- Follow an Agile Scrum framework of prioritization, selection, and execution to develop and release software code- Analyze, design and develop integrations, extensions, user interfaces, and workflows with Oracle technology tools such as Oracle Workflow, Oracle Reports, PL/SQL, Oracle Applications Framework- Understand and implement technical configuration changes to E-Business Suite modules
Required Skills:- 8+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of Oracle R12 eBusiness Suite environment. This includes Oracle 12c database and Oracle Workflow.- Specific experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), object-oriented programming (Java) experience/JDeveloper- Strong experience in PL/SQL package/procedure-based programming for custom applications, data conversions, and interface development around Oracle EBS modules- Recent and relevant experience with developing functionality in support of EBS Manufacturing, Procurement, Supplier, Depot Repair, and Quality modules- Unix Scripting and SQL*Loader- Knowledge of flex fields, workflow, setup and profile options- Ability to define logical and physical data models- Experience with multi-organization and multi-currency functionality and their impact on complex business scenarios- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical field with equivalent experience- Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Skills:- Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Projects, Order Management, Inventory, Quality, Purchasing, and Repair modules.
