Job Responsibilities:Viasat has developed and deployed the next generation of high capacity broadband satellites representing the most significant capacity leap in the history of satellite communications. With Viasat, as a vertically integrated in-flight connectivity and internet service provider, you will be instrumental in helping deliver capabilities to numerous customers, in the air and on the ground.
As a key member of the Global IT team, you will work with other DevOps team members and core business stakeholders to enhance and extend enterprise business applications such as Oracle EBS R12, proprietary Viasat-developed applications, and new and existing integrations to and from internal and external applications. You will participate and be a key contributor to the design, development, test and implementation of vital application functionality and integrations that will have near and long-term impact.
Required Skills:- 5+ years of experience and advanced knowledge of Oracle R12 E-Business Suite environment. This includes Oracle 12c database and Oracle Workflow.- Functional knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Projects, Order Management, Inventory, Quality, Purchasing, and Repair E-Business Suite modules.- Specific experience with Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Java, BI Publisher and JDeveloper- Strong experience in PL/SQL package/procedure-based programming- Unix Scripting and SQL*Loader- Business events, subscriptions, database triggers- Knowledge of flex fields, workflow, setup and profile options- Ability to define logical and physical data models- Experience with multi-organization and multi-currency functionality and their impact on complex business scenarios- ETL experience with tools such as Informatica and Alteryx- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant technical field with equivalent experience- Ability to travel up to 10%
