Job Description:We are looking for a talented Technical Writer to research, outline, write, and edit new and existing technical contents of our products. In this role, you will work closely with our product development teams to analyze requirements, take inputs from Project Managers, Tech Leads, and ensure all technical documentations meets organizational standards.
Responsibilities:- Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including architectural design, software and systems engineering, system operations and user documentation.
- Develop and maintain a detailed database of appropriate reference materials, including research, and design specifications.
- Evaluate current content and develop innovative approaches for improvement.
- Independently gather information from Project Managers, Development Leads to develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentations.
- Work with development and IT team to identify all documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine the workable solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
- To obtain a deep understanding of our products to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
- You have the expertise to understand and communicate the technical aspects of a software product to both highly technical as well as non-technical users.
- Excellent, clear, clean, accessible writing and proofreading skills.
- Obsessive eye for consistency and technical accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand programming code and complex technical documents like software architecture document and Entity Relationship Diagram.
- As an ideal candidate, you have proven experience of 5-7 years in technical writing or technical documentations preferably for Software product-based organization/s.
- You have a bachelor s degree (B. Tech) in Computer Science Engineering or related field, and you possess a superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- You can quickly learn and understand complex topics and have reasonable understanding of the Software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in working with various technical documentation tools is preferred.
