Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of project.
- Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing.
- Manage a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation.
- Identify Training requirements and forward it to the Project Manager (Technical and Soft skills).
- Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
- Arrange the Hardware and software requirement for the Test Setup.
- Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient work in the project.
- Identify, Prepare and Review test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
- Execution of test cases.
- Reporting of defects.
- Preparation of test reports.
Essential Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices.
- Knowledge with testing tools.
- ISTQB Certifications.
- Basic awareness of any scripting.
- Manual Testing and Automated Testing.
- Programming knowledge [This depends on whether a Black Box or a White Box testing methodology is used.]
- Good communication and teamleadingexperience.
Qualification:
- Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in manual and automated testing.
