Job Summary
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges within the Gas and Oil domain.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Gather and document detailed business requirements, use cases, and user stories for new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders to elicit and prioritize requirements and clarify ambiguities.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and assist in solution design and validation.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current state and desired future state, proposing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to define and execute test plans, ensuring thorough testing of solutions prior to implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to business users during system implementations, deployments, and post-implementation phases.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of implemented solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Gas and Oil industry.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and operations within the Gas and Oil domain, including upstream, midstream, and downstream activities.
  • Experience with industry-specific technologies and systems such as SCADA, DCS, ERP, EAM, and GIS is highly desirable.
