Associates : Python + Data- Driven Analytics + Finance Job in Vbeyond Corporation

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the work on Business Intelligence in partnership with onshore and offshore teams and business stakeholders
• Support and enhance Operational Risk and Controls Management and monitoring by
• Designing relevant metrics for constant tracking
• Review all existing reports and scorecards for relevance
• Drive designing relevant visualization through dashboards with the Business and Technology team
• Identifying data sets required
• Identifying cross data relationships
• Identify key reporting indicators through data deep dives, data mining, collaboration with Risk and Control Management organization
• Implementing data evaluation techniques aimed at measuring business risks and control issues
• Re-evaluation of existing reporting landscape in line with changing risk and control environment
• Work with Reporting and Business Intelligence lead to identify, socialize and deliver Analytics and report automation solutions
• Develop scalable data preparation, maintenance, and reporting procedures that can be leveraged by business units and functional areas across the firm
• Stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data evaluation strategies

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

• Overall 12+ years of experience
• Masters or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
• Experience in Control Management or in the RCSA Reporting space is preferred
• At least 6-7 years experience with data analytics in operational risk and control management to provide relevant business intelligence for reporting and analytics
• Experience or understanding in data mining using Alteryx, SAS, machine learning like Python and text analytics using R preferred
• At least 3 years of project management, risk and controls and hands-on programming using structured / unstructured data
• Ability to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think outside the box
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
• Good verbal/written and inter-personal skills
• Positive attitude, self-motivated and confident
• Ability to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think outside the box
• Knowledge of Big Data Concepts / Hadoop is a plus
