Our Procurement with Purpose strategy focuses on: Buying responsibly (sustainable and ethical sourcing) Buying better (driving efficiency and value) Growing together (building strategic supplier partnerships) Role Purpose In this role, you will be responsible for competitive buying, sustainable sourcing, and building purpose-driven partnerships for Unilever s factory warehouses. You will manage end-to-end warehouse procurement operations, ensuring cost efficiency, safety compliance, and seamless collaboration between internal teams and external suppliers. Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations & Compliance Oversee factory warehouse procurement while ensuring world-class service, cost efficiency, and sustainability. Manage complex warehouse operations in remote factory locations. Ensure compliance with Unilever s Safety, Quality, Security, and Environmental policies. Optimize resource utilization for smooth warehouse operations. Work with factory teams to ensure all facilities comply with government and Unilever standards. Cost & Contract Management Lead end-to-end cost management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives. Drive cost-efficiency projects, such as warehouse mechanization and process improvements. Develop and execute contracts in line with Unilever s legal and procurement policies. Handle crisis situations effectively to maintain operational continuity at optimal costs. Supplier & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with warehouse suppliers to drive efficiency and innovation. Partner with factory teams, logistics procurement, and manufacturing excellence teams. Lead complex supplier negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and strategic value. Process Optimization & Digital Transformation Identify and implement digital tools and best practices to optimize procurement. Ensure adherence to operational SOPs, resolving non-compliance issues swiftly. Drive data-driven decision-making using SAP and digital sourcing platforms. Key Stakeholders You will collaborate with: Unilever Logistics Procurement & Manufacturing Excellence Teams Factory Operations & Supply Chain Teams Suppliers & External Partners Travel: Domestic travel (approximately 10% of the year). Skills & Competencies Strong analytical skills & financial acumen Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint Knowledge of SAP and digital sourcing platforms (preferred) Excellent negotiation & supplier management skills Strong interpersonal & communication abilities Fluency in English (additional Indian language preferred) Ability to develop & execute portfolio strategies Education & Experience Degree in Engineering, with an MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management (preferred). 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or factory operations. Experience in local supplier management & cost efficiency strategies. Expertise in procurement of logistics services & leading complex negotiations. Why Join Unilever? Qualification :
Degree in Engineering, with an MBA in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations Management (preferred).
