Roles & Responsibilities: Study the products in portfolio and analyze the features and determine the scope of improvement in the aspects of Engineering and User Handling Experience Understanding the product requirements and coming up with conceptual design of the product Detailed engineering design of Concepts, Components and Mechanisms Work with Industrial Design Team and core engineering team to develop concepts and carry out the development Perform various Aggregate calculations and selection of components, testing and validation of those components Creation of CAD Part and Assembly Models, Part and Assembly Drawings Design and development of toolings related to components and assemblies Work with Vendors and Suppliers to develop the components as per specifications Requirements: Experience in Product Engineering of Consumer Electronics/Domestic Appliances/Automotive Interior Mechanisms/Medical Devices Expert and Experience in Mechanisms Design and Electromechanical components Strong knowledge and experience of working with Polymers and Metals Expert at Sheet Metal Design and Fabrication processes for press tools Proficient in tooling and manufacturing through Injection and Blow molding Strong CAD tool expertise, including surface design Good at creation of Part and Assembly drawings with Tolerances and other attributes Good to Have: Experience of handling end to end Product Design Ability to coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders to drive the product development phase Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards of industrial machinery Mass Production components development experience Certified Courses in Design Thinking
