Job Summary
JOB PURPOSE ( Why the job exists) : Revenue Generation KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ( Major responsibilities in order of importance i.e., most important responsibility should be mentioned first) Primarily- Achievement of Sales Targets/Revenue Generation. New Business Development- New Brands on board- First Time advertisers/maximum coverage with clients. Client Servicing- Work on timely revert on Briefs/Presentations & Proposals/Build relationships with the clients. Collection of all outstanding business within the applicable credit policy Tracking Advertisement campaigns of clients & accordingly design/pitch customized cinema campaign for the clients DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY & CONTROL Decisions made alone Decisions on Consultative Mode / Referred to Higher Level: Proposals, pricing, deal closures WORK RELATIONSHIPS Internal Customers All departments for cordination. External Interface (Customer, Supplier etc) Clients/agencies/Vendors QUALIFICATIONS ( Educational & Professional): Masters Degree in Management EXPERIENCE ( No of years): 2-7 years of experience. Must have hands on experience in media / space selling, concept selling, corporate selling industry experience, should understand the sales process and strong background. Strong sales person with great ability to network. Ability to handle & work under pressure alongwith basic computer skills. COMPETENCIES Domain Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of sales/numbers Understanding of media industry & advertising Prospect and sell new advertising solutions to clients Prepare and present presentations to customers and potential customers Problem solver/self starter Managerial/Behavioural skills Disciplined (Punctuality, submission of reports, dsr's on time) Communicates in a clear and professional manner Takes initiative, comes up with new ideas to engage & excite clients/agencies Assertive, good listener Good time management
