About an Opportunity: For our Data Science and Analytics Practice, we are looking for young and dynamic chemical engineers with good data Analytics background. As an application engineer, you will get an opportunity to work on Tridiagonal s state-of-the-art data analytics solutions based on latest ML/AI techniques for global customers.

Purpose: To be part of process data analytics team for end customers in the process industry space (Pharmaceuticals & Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverages, etc.). The COE / Customer support team shall work on data strategy, data aggregation / cleansing, advanced modelling and build process analytics templates for these end customers. The role demands consulting approach to work with customers and help them with training, POC and troubleshooting with analytics platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Application Engineer for Advanced Data Analytics Partner Platforms (for e.g. SEEQ, Aspen IP 21, OsiSoft PI vision, etc.). Prepare use cases for various industries and demonstrate these to the prospects globally.
• Good understanding of Historian and BI tools (OsiSoft PI, Influx DB, Honeywell PSD, Delta V, Wonderware, GE Predix, etc.) and Data trending/ visualization and analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, Seeq, Trend miner, PI Vision, etc.
• Experience in Plant Performance monitoring and visualization systems using data historians like OsiSoft PI, Aspen IP 21, Honeywell PSD, etc.
• Process KPIs trends (for e.g asset health monitoring, fouling prediction, etc.) and analytics dashboards using trending tools
• Identify, define and execute projects for adapting latest technologies and tools like Data aggregation, Data cleaning, Data quality, Integration, Data Management, Data Analytics, Data Science, etc.
• System integration, configuration, customization, installation of partner platforms like Seeq, OsiSoft PI, etc.
• Training of end customers on Advanced Process Data Analytics Platform Seeq
• Ability to drive the customers through DT journey (L0 to L4 and data visualization / analytics) and interact with C-Suite audience
• Influence stakeholders from various disciplines and across different levels of seniority across the organization.
• Solution mindset, creative and good at relationship management
• Experienced in understanding problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
• Provide expertise in deployment of high-end technological initiatives and digital solutions like historian, data analytics, BI, workflow automation tools, Data Analytics (using partner platforms),
• Exposure and inclination towards new technologies and platforms like ML, AI, Data sciences and Data Engineering.
• Collaborate / work closely with Service Delivery Team & Marketing team
• Successful track record in leading and delivering projects, large programs, applications across companies and domains
• Strong domain knowledge of Pharma, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Utilities, etc.
• Results oriented leadership and management skills with strong communication, people management and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter, quick learner, experience in working in multi-cultural environment across different geographies

Education/Skills/Experience:
Bachelors / Master s degree in Chemical Engg. with a minimum of 7+ years of relevant work experience
