Job Summary

Tricog is a Blume Ventures portfolio HealthTech company providing an AI-driven virtual cardiologist solution that is making speedy and precise diagnosis of CVD (Cardiovascular Diseases) a reality. We are hiring hardware engineers who could bring innovative solutions and help us build a high quality product.

Key Skills:

  • Must understand the theory and practice of electronic components and circuits
  • Must have in depth experience with digital design with microcontrollers
  • Must have some experience designing power supplies with LDOs and SMPSes
  • Must understand communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART
  • Must have a working knowledge of memory chips, interfacing and timing: SDRAM, EEPROM, NOR and NAND Flash
  • Must understand wireless standards: Bluetooth and WiFi
  • Must understand Internet protocols: TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS
  • Must understand how to read datasheets and understand the performance characteristics of components in order to make good choices for parts to build a product.
  • Must be skilled at using a schematic capture program (any program is okay, but EAGLE, KiCAD is preferred)
  • Must be able to understand PCB layout tools to build and validate the design
  • Must be able to understand the working of the product to create programming and firmware requirements of the design.
  • Should have a working understanding of mechanical design requirements of the product
  • Must be good at written and spoken English and have good communication and team working skills, especially in a remote work environment.
  • Any experience in certification, validation, testing and documentation of hardware products is preferred. *
