The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: Automation technology - Hardware design with CAE tools (Engineering Base, ELCAD, etc.) Revision management and clarification of technical requirements Experience in hardware engineering of I&C control cabinets for high-voltage switchgear and/or power systems Very good CAE knowledge, ideally in the tool Engineering Base Experience in Measuring and Instrumentation technologies for high voltage transmission systems and ideally knowledge of Power Quality und Fault Recording Systems Preparation of hardware designs and manufacturing documents with integration of subsystems and interfaces for control cabinets of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission systems Preparation of related technical documents, cost calculations and circuit documents as well as manuals within the scope of quotation processing and project execution Programming of Database for hardware configuration and for signal management Supervision of workshops during the panel manufacturing process and support during the acceptance/functional tests including occasional business trips Clarification of technical requirements both within project teams and with customers and suppliers as well as preparation of work packages for sub-suppliers including their outbound control Creation and maintenance of project specific technical specifications, documents & manuals. Clarification of requirements and interfaces with internal departments and external suppliers and customers. Creation and administration of circuit drawings, workshop support and factory acceptance test during manufacturing of cubicles. Coordination of work packages with external sub suppliers Technical support during commissioning phases Remote support of commissioning and in case of service Education & Experience: Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or similar Several years of work experience in the area of hardware engineering for control and protection cubicles in energy transmission plants Experience in project engineering, customer clarification, working in complex teams Understanding for SCADA systems as part of energy transmission system (Substations, etc.) Fluency in English, both in writing and speaking, is necessary. Knowledge of German preferred. Creative, proactive, client-oriented, result-driven, autonomous.
