Job Summary Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead the Spare Parts Supply Chain team. This role involves driving exceptional customer service, leading spare parts delivery, and optimizing supply chain strategies for improved efficiency. The position demands leadership in managing cross-functional relationships, focusing on customer engagement, improving operational performance, and overseeing inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management with a focus on process improvement and team leadership. Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership and Team Management Lead and mentor the Customer Service and Order Planning teams to ensure efficient spare parts delivery. Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning within the supply chain team. 2. Customer Engagement and Experience Drive the Customer Connect Calls Program to enhance customer engagement with Focus Accounts, Direct Customers, and Government Customers. Improve the Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) model to increase forecast accuracy and coverage, thus reducing customer wait times and improving order fulfillment (SO Completeness). 3. Process Improvement and Optimization Leverage Performance and Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies to continually improve operational efficiency. Cultivate a culture of Root Cause Corrective Management (RCCM) for problem-solving and enhancing process performance. 4. Revenue Growth and Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with various service businesses to drive India Service Organic revenue growth. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to implement strategies and meet Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals. 5. Supply and Capacity Planning Develop and review mid-to-long-range capacity and supply plans, ensuring alignment with the monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services. 6. Performance Reporting and Analysis Facilitate weekly performance reporting on key metrics such as forecast accuracy, Days of Supply (DOS), inventory value, capacity utilization, sourcing savings, and PPI savings. Use data-driven insights to communicate and influence decisions within the team and with other departments. 7. Industry Trends and Innovation Stay updated with the latest industry trends and innovative strategies to implement effective supply chain solutions. 8. Ethical Standards and Compliance Ensure strict adherence to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance within all supply chain operations. Qualifications Experience: At least 8 years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on process improvement, decision-making, and team management. Proven track record in managing and developing teams to consistently achieve outstanding results. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for managing cross-functional relationships. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities. Extensive experience in inventory modeling, forecasting, and supply chain planning. Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms (e.g., Power BI) is preferred. Ethical and Compliance Understanding: Strong commitment to ethical business practices and compliance with all regulatory standards.
