Sr Site Reliability Engineer Job in Tecstub

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a minimum of 4 years of expertise in maintaining and optimizing the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless service operations through comprehensive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization techniques. Your primary focus will be on services monitoring, log monitoring, resource monitoring, APM monitoring, and security and vulnerability monitoring, with a strong emphasis on AWS environments.

Timing in shift ( 6PM to 3AM , 2 AM to 11PM)

Key Responsibilities:

- Services Monitoring (port, health check, process, service status)

- Log Monitoring

- Troubleshooting.

- Resource Monitoring (ping, CPU, RAM, disk)

- APM Monitoring

- Security/Vulnerability Monitoring (knowledge of SIME tools)

- AWS CloudTrail and CloudWatch Management

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and performance

- Automation of routine tasks to improve operational efficiency

- Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 support

Qualifications:

- Minimum 4 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role

- Proficiency in services monitoring, log monitoring, and resource monitoring

- Strong knowledge of APM monitoring tools

- Familiarity with security and vulnerability monitoring tools and practices

- Hands-on experience with AWS CloudTrail and CloudWatch

- Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation

- Excellent troubleshooting skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
