Job summary and Responsibilities Work with business users and internal team members to: Research, analyze, define, propose, design, document solution to achieve business objectives. Should be able to provide guidance/coaching to business user to achieve the business objectives in most efficient way. Understand, review, troubleshoot existing functionality, configure & customize screens, flows and business processes, develop and execute scripts on Helix ITSM platform. Facilitate acceptance and user testing for enhancements and new functionality to deliver efficient and high-quality software solution. Support in day-to-day management of BMC Helix instances. Experience in below focus areas: Excellent troubleshooting skills are a must in this position. Must have in-depth functional understanding of how the BMC Helix system works. Advanced knowledge of existing and industry best practice business processes Expectation to satisfactorily complete job responsibilities include: As a developer, define what the system should do so that the customer requirements are satisfied on the best possible way. As an analyst / developer, configure and/or customize the processes on BMC Helix ITSM to design/implement solution to achieve business objectives. Understanding of REST Webservice APIs for systems integration Able to identify multiple functional solutions for solving a given business problem. Ability to develop strong on-site and remote team and client relationships. Ability to communicate in verbal, presentation, and written formats, clearly, concisely, and effectively, with peers, management and business users and stakeholders. Ability to quickly understand and learn new concepts and frameworks Ability to work without supervision on large and/or extended term projects. Familiarity with all phases of software cycle including solution design, code,development, unit testing, functional testing, code review, quality acceptance testing/user acceptance testing, deployment, and post release support Knowledge and understanding of common project management concepts and Agile based project delivery. Familiarity with use of project management tools like Jira Knowledge and understanding of general ITIL concepts Primary skills (100%) / experience BMC Helix: 5+ years in areas of: Functional expertise BMC Helix ITSM product Remedy development with DWPC development ETL / coding on Atrium Integrator Development experience: 7+ years
