Job Purpose: Support for credit team ; processing and clearing of orders , keep track of cheques collected by sales team or sent by customers ; ensuring they are properly accounted and allocated ; and the overall main objective of this role will be to ensure overall hygiene of the AR is maintained. Responsibilities Credit Portfolio :- Key focus activities ( 60%) Facilitating in commercial structuring of deals and crafting solutions to manage & mitigate risk Order Loading for deals with insured Credit limits available Credit Assessment & Research Preparing all necessary datapoints along with Credit Report for running any required approval to senior management New / additional Limit requirement to be worked with credit insurance team Customer data maintenance in SAP - Credit Functions (Credit Limit and Credit Days Updation) Safekeep credit applications & documents in credit share point Working on Deal Funnel Forecast with RSM's and maintain it on real time basis (Tracker) Customer Onboarding and Registration Providing Credit support to GCC division Flashing AR / Order Backlog / Credit Limit - Daily Tracker Updating the standard credit days of partners Liasening with Credit Insurance Agency for processing claims Handling Credit Block releases by following a checklist Actively engage in meeting customers along with sales team for building repo and obtaining qualitative/quantitative information (30%) Liasening with banks for LC, BG and Lien Documents (10%) Collection Portfolio Keeping track of all cheques submitted by sales or sent by courier and depositing the same in bank as per due dates. (20%) Keep track on credit limits for smooth functioning of orders , proper due diligence during order loading & billing (10%) To ensure proper accounting of all the cheques correctly . in case of value of the cheque does not match with invoice, the same to be verified and appropriate action taken. (30%) Ensure TDS deductions done by customer during payments done as as per tax laws and in case of disconnect highlight the same to customer to ensure they do the payment (5%) Daily release of Sales and Delivery orders with proper validation & due diligence (5%) TO ensure timely allocation of credits with overall objective of hygiene of AR (15%) Reconciliation of customer accounts and taking balance sign off from customers (15%) Knowledge, Skills and Experience: 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience. Bachelor's degree in commerce or related field with handling of credit control Field of Study preferred. Other Education / Certifications: Working knowledge on SAP and Excel must with knowledge of basic excel macros. Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed. Able to use a 10-key quickly and accurately. Possesses strong data entry skills. Able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency. Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information. Able to interact effectively with all levels of management. Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion. Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines. Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others. Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level.
