Job Summary
- Knowledge on Creation of Product Concepts & Make vehicle packaging study as per Customer packaging requirement.
- Responsible to Converge the design from all aspect from Concept to Design & Tooling kick-off.
- Must have worked in Auto OEM or any other industry having -Very good knowledge & hands on experience in 3D CAD software Pro-E / Creo
- Hands on experience in directly meeting the customers to discuss & capture key Product -Technical requirements, Product Architecture & Test specifications in order to create new product designs.
- Hands on experienced in generating multiple design concept and validating the generated design concepts through DFMEA, Design reviews,
- Exposure to FEA analysis, prototyping, etc.
- Knowledge & Manufacturability of Plastic Injection Moulding.
- Knowledge / Thermal characteristics and thermal management techniques.
- Knowledge on Tool Design aspects such as Under cuts, Moulding defects.
- Knowledge on Product aspects like parting line, drafts, thickness etc.,
- Good working knowledge on GD&T & Tolerance Stack up analysis
- Independently conduct design reviews, ability to check and approve product designs and drawings (3D & 2D)
- Exposure to Mould flow analysis and FEA analysis
- Exposure to Sheet Metal stamping processes
- Exposure to PCB Header Stitching / Moulding Process
- Exposure to understand Vehicle Electrical Test Standards ISO16750-1
- Understand / Create Test Specification for DV/PV testing for Electrical connectors / Terminals etc.,
- Exposure to DVPR preparation & signoff from Customers.
- Perform product costing & Value Engineering (VA/VE) analysis.
- Interact with sales / marketing team on techno-commercials proposals.
- Prepare, monitor, update & maintain all engineering documentation in line with TS 16949
- Exposure to APQP & PPAP activities.
- Exposure to system Audits such a IATF / TS 16949 requirements for automotive industry.
- Responsible prepare, monitor, update & maintain all engineering documentation in line with TS 16949 for all ECN.
- Able to perform Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) specific to Engineering change management process.
- Responsible to drive ECN meeting with all CFT members for flawless implementation of all Process
- Conduct DFM Design for Manufacturability with respective CFT (Tooling / Assy)
- Exposure to system Audits such as IATF / TS 16949 requirements for automotive industry.
- Face all Internal & External Audit representing Product Engg for all parts under production.
- Knowledge on GD&T & Tolerance Stack up analysis.
