Job Summary Job Role- Program Engineer (Exhaust) Location: Tenneco GETC, Pune India Job Responsibilities Interact with internal customers on product & project s requirements, timeline, task & resources and manage the same. Prepare project documentation as per Tenneco business process requirements. Coordinate with CFT members e.g. CAD, CFD, FEA etc. to meet program deliverables. Monitor execution and meet the project timeline/milestones, drawing release with right first[1]time approach. Able to define and implement GD&T to the drawings and perform tolerance stack-up analysis and other analytical calculations. Collect and document CFT review feedback e.g. manufacturing feasibility, supply chain feedback for Make Vs Buy decision, etc. Prepare DFMEA document and able to analyze critical characteristics of the system. Understand system DVP and able to execute the related requirements. Understands manufacturing control plan. Understand importance of patents and creates opportunity to file disclosures. Basic awareness of raw material and manufacturing process cost. Prepare technical presentation and share with internal stakeholders and/or present to team when required. Arrange internal cross functional review meetings at regular intervals and program milestone gate review meetings. Maintain minutes of meeting records and timely communicates with team. Takes ownership of the program. Motivate the team and self for taking technical decisions based on risk assessment. Negotiating technical requirements, design solutions for the Exhaust After treatment system with internal customers. Project status reporting, in accordance with the RFQ/DV/PV gate reviews of the project management system. Take ownership of technical documentation. What will make you successful? Education: B.E. / B.Tech. / ME / M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering discipline with 5-9 years of work experience. English communication skill (Verbal and written) is a must. Experience in managing projects in the automotive industry. Exhaust system product engineering knowledge is preferred. Manufacturing, Quality, Supplier interaction knowledge would be good. CAD software knowledge and Sheet Metals product knowledge is a plus. Scope of role: Team of Cross-Functional engineers who share a passion for the automotive industry. Work with the highest quality product Clean Air Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems. Work with cross functional engineering teams e.g. SME - components, CFD, FEA etc. The opportunity to implement your own ideas in practice and implement them on Product Engineering.
Qualification :
B.E. / B.Tech. / ME / M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering discipline with 5-9 years of work experience.
