Position Summary with Job Responsibilities
The candidate should have in depth product design & development experience of automotive Interior soft trims, must have worked on components like headliners, parcel shelf, carpet & insulation.
Education
Bachelor of Engineering in Automobile or MechanicalWork Experience
12 - 14 Years
Should have sound knowledge of soft trim manufacturing processes like compression molding. Additionally, he should know the plastic injection molding process.
Should have sound knowledge of soft trim different materials compositions like fabrics & acoustic materials.
Should have sound knowledge of BSR, NVH requirements and its performance.
Should have sound knowledge of regulatory requirements for domestic as well as Europe & US.
Should have sound knowledge of product life cycle of soft trim components design & development
Should have sound knowledge of tolerance stack-up & GDT
Should have good awareness on tools & fixture designs.
Ability to lead & interact with the cross functional teams, suppliers for design & development activities.
Should have good hands on experience on Catia & PLM software.
Should have a sound knowledge of engineering design release & change management process is must.
Strong interpersonal skills are required
