Job description

    Your responsibility is to support the existing Windows and Cisco Networking Infrastructure. You must also be able to help plan, install, and configure new technology as they become available. Support 6 major manufacturing facilities plus adjoining distribution centers

    Escalation point for L1 and L2

    Assist Managers & Leads

Musthave Skills :

  • Prior Working Experience

  • 1) Configure and troubleshoot Active directory, DNS and Group Policy, DHCP, WINS, SQL Server, Office 365, Proof Point, Onprem Exchange, OnPrem SharePoint, Sophos AntiVirus, ERP and sister backend systems with particular expertise in a HyperV virtualized environment

    2) Troubleshooting using Performance Monitor or any other tools, Event Viewer and Network Monitor

    3) Install, Configure and Maintain Lenovo/Cisco and Dell Hardware and support disaster recovery (Rapid Recovery) systems

    4) Ability to accomplish departmental goals on transitioning additional workloads to the cloud (AWS or Azure)

  • Problem determination and resolution within SLA's with good analytical and problemsolving abilities.

  • Produce accurate technical documentation

  • Highly selfmotivated and capable of working autonomously or directly managed

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to effectively prioritize, organize and execute tasks in a highpressure environment.

Prior Working Experience :

    1) With an Managed Services/IT Services company is preferred, and a background in dealing with global teams and remote teams will be a strong plus

    2) Configure and troubleshoot Terminal servers (RDS), Windows and HyperV replication, Clustering Experience would be a plus

    3) Virtualization HyperV, Azure, AWS

    4) Various blade systems (Dell/Cisco)

    5) Install, Configure and troubleshoot WSUS infrastructure

Responsibilities :

  • Day to day Operational issues, requests and Project tasks

  • Respond and resolve escalated system incidents, problems or outages and accurately report and document solutions

  • Problem determination and resolution within SLA's

  • Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot and provide solutions for Active Directory(DNS,Group Policy) and Windows Servers

  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot backend servers to all corporate applications

  • Troubleshoot Windows Server Performance issues using various performance and monitoring tools

  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot various server hardware (Blade, Rack)

  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot various Antivirus applications

  • Install, Configure, maintain and troubleshoot WSUS infrastructure ;approve and push the patches

  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot HyperV infrastructure

  • Perform day to day operations on HyperV infrastructure

  • Use the available monitoring tools during the maintenance activities(scheduled or unscheduled) to suppress the alerts, collect information for troubleshooting

  • Create, review, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Assist in proper designing, planning and documenting.

  • Responsible for providing senior level of support for Wintel team.

  • Train and mentor the peers and juniors in the team.

  • Use PowerShell and batch filing scripting for day to day activities.

  • Being part of the technical team during Projects and Incidents

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware server resources, systems and key processes

  • Participate in team oncall response 7x24x365.

  • Coordinate with various teams such as monitoring, backup and Network to ensure proper functioning of all servers and its services
