Job Description:
Experience: 5+ years as Database Administrator
Skills:
Must Have
o 4+ years of experience with relational databases i.e., PostgreSQL
o 2+ years of experience with writing complex SQL queries on JSONB column
o 2+ years of experience with writing complex SQL queries using JOINS
o 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging
o 2+ years of problem-solving skills
o 4 years as DBA with understanding of Wal, partitions, vacuum, database logging, user management with roles and rights
o 1+ years of experience in database backups and restoration and data recovery
o 1+ years of experience in Stackgres (Kubernetes) implementation for PostgreSQL including backups and recovery and high availability
o 1+ years of experience on performance tuning and indexing (with concurrency)
Good to Have
o Sound experience (1+ years) on MySQL and its master slave setup and administration.
o Understanding of rules and regulations associated with data in secure environments
o Experience planning development efforts and estimating time/resource requirements
o Knowledge in developing and designing databases and data models
o Understanding of operating systems and system administration concepts
Nice tohave.
o Experience on database level encryption.
o Willing to contribute for development using the expertise in database
