Managers in this role get to:


Impact the Bottom Line: Drive the performance of a team of Consultants, meeting and exceeding all KPI targets.


Strengthen Relationships: Manage attrition, shrinkage, and other critical metrics of the team.


Influence the Lives of Others: Coach and mentor Consultants, providing feedback and performance management.


Keep Management Updated: Inform leadership on the latest trends of end-user customers and provide feedback to Ops Managers.
Define Sutherland's Reputation: Drive organizational initiatives within the team from time to time.



Qualifications:

Job Responsibility:

  • Understand business requirements of the client (internal), and devise customized research and consulting solutions to address their needs.
    • Identification of issues, pain-points, growth opportunities for a client through Industry Research, Company Research, Competitive Intelligence/Benchmarking, etc., and recommend strategic solutions
  • Design and prepare deliverables (in MS Word, Excel, POWERPOINT formats)
    • Understand data requirement for the engagement, and determine effective data sources for the deliverable
    • Conduct in-depth secondary and primary research, based on requirement
    • Synthesize and analyze the research findings to come up with strategic solutions/insights for the client
    • Prepare final deliverable(s)
  • Build strong and relevant professional relationships internally and externally
  • Use research tools and frameworks to develop high-impact deliverables
  • Should be able to multitask and manage multiple projects
  • Ensure the quality, timeliness, accuracy, and accountability of the assigned research projects
  • Work with moderate supervision on client deliverables and other research initiatives
  • Responsible for training and mentoring other team members
  • Contribute towards the Sales pipeline by identifying areas of growth

Desired Candidate profile:

  • Post-graduate degree from premier institute
  • 5-8 years of relevant business research/consulting experience
  • Familiar with key tools and frameworks (OneSource, Factiva, Hoovers, Gartner, Forrester, D&B, Bloomberg & other online research portals)
  • Should have good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and business acumen
  • Ease and comfort to deal with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to work in a highly demanding and result oriented team environment
