Corporate Development Analyst

Role:Planning, Investor Engagement, and Fund Rise

Job Description:

  • Support the fund-raising activities, investor meets and board reviews
  • Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of business MIS, KPIs and benchmarking
  • Working on Investor communication materials (Board Decks, Investor Presentation, Financial models/Business Plans, etc.)
  • Engaging with various internal and external stakeholders for obtaining inputs, data, information, and co-ordination of work-streams
  • Contribute to building IR narrative or addressing investor queries Mergers and acquisitions
  • Sourcing and evaluation of inorganic opportunities (investments and acquisitions) in collaboration with internal teams; with end-to-end execution of chosen opportunities.
  • Work with various internal teams in the business to ensure effective integration of an acquisition and monitor post-merger integration/performance Strategic Initiatives
  • Assist in planning and implementation of key projects and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in developing long-range corporate plans
  • Partner with business units to identify and evaluate expansion opportunities (conduct primary and secondary research including evaluation of competitive landscape) and drive business plan development for the same
  • Convert strategies into action and coordinate/manage the implementation of key strategic projects and initiatives in liaison with cross-functional leadership/business units
  • Peer tracking and monitoring of industry trends and macro variables driving the industry

Qualification and Skills :

  • 1 to 5 years of experience gained through investment banking, private equity/venture capital investing, management consulting/corporate strategy background - Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, drive cross-functional projects and maintain high ownership
  • Hands-on experience in financial modelling, business analysis, and competitive bench-marking - Excellent oral and written skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong research capabilities, thorough analytical abilities, and business acumen
