Job Summary

person should be able to handle the second level escalation calls related to Desktop support (First level will be addressed by outsourced staff like Redington / CMS Engineers).Day to day coordination with all the user systems related problems.Follow up with vendors for any service related issues.Vendor payment.IT Asset Tracking.Network monitoring at second level (first level is through outsourced engineer).Coordination with Network service providerUptime monitoring of Network / Servers / DesktopHe should ensure early resolution of support problems of above mentioned area

Minimum Requirements

Person will administer existing AS400 and AS400 based applications. Managing useri ds in OS400 and application. Manage Websphere/400, Webreport/400 application servers. Closely interact and work with Regional (Singapore) and Central (US) team in making sure adhering to IT standards.Education and Experience Requisites:Qualification: Diploma in IT (an Engineering degree would be preferred)Experience: 3-6 years in relevant job profileSpecific Criteria: Must have basic IT troubleshooting and Server level trouble shooting experience. The candidate should possess good communication skills, and be flexible with work timing as and when required due to business exigency. Should have experience in handling IT vendors. Basic CISCO switching and routing knowledge will be preferred.
