What you will be responsible for As you will Design compelling data visualizations and storytelling to communicate complex ideas and generate insights to business leaders using Microsoft Power BI. Strong Knowledge of Power BI desktop and Power BI Service is mandatory. Proficient at writing DAX queries and build advanced level calculations as per the report requirements and methodology. Develop and automate best-in-class business intelligence reports (dashboards, KPIs, metrics, scorecards etc.). Connect to multiple data sources like SQL Server /Access/Excel and develop Analytical reports/dashboards. Write complex SQL queries in Power BI environment or SSMS to extract data from multiple tables, perform joins and unions to combine the data for our reporting requirements. Developing, publishing them, and maintaining reports on Power BI Service /Server. Schedule reports and perform Admin activities such as Adding Users/Groups and implement row-level security on data and should understand application security layer models in Power BI. Transform data by using features in Power BI like cleaning, sorting, pivoting, splitting, merge, group by and various techniques provided in Power BI. Extensive knowledge on DAX queries, Parameters, functions, and formatting techniques. Responsible to understand the existing reporting in Tableau and migrate reports from Tableau to Power BI. Responsible for design methodology and project documentation. Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify trends and support immediate business strategic needs. Ability to automate existing reports and provides efficiency and solutions for the business problem. Analysis of relevant data across all business domains and generating meaningful and actionable insights. Lead projects from inception to deployment of reporting environment. Provide leadership and functional oversight to junior resources on projects and BAU activities.
