Align ServiceNow platform capabilities to business strategy and ServiceNow roadmap
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions
Stay current on ServiceNow products and applicable integrated technologies
Develop, test, and implement new capabilities on the ServiceNow DEV/PROD platform
Perform ServiceNow upgrades, action skipped changes and create/run tests
Troubleshoot ServiceNow related issues and manage a ticketing queue
Maintain and manage discovery environments using multiple MID servers
Write and maintain client/UI and server-side business logic scripts
Develop and maintain UI Policies, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Macros, Data Policies, ACLs, Notifications
Develop, test, and document custom development and integrations for ServiceNow features, applications and projects.
Act as a trusted lead resource, enabler, and SME for SADA s ServiceNow complete instance (ITSM, ITOM, CSM, etc). This may also include collaboration with a Managed Services Provider, as well as ServiceNow corporate/support.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the ServiceNow platform
Contribute to the maturity of the SDLC program for ServiceNow development
Knowledge of core ServiceNow scripting like but not limited to Business Rules, Script includes, Client scripts, UI policies etc.
Participate in peer code reviews for ongoing development to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
Execute test plans to ensure a quality solution is delivered
Communicate with team members, business stakeholders, and managed services provider to ensure effective collaboration throughout all phases of development, testing and deployment
Act as a lead to help provide detailed development estimates and work breakdown structures for the tasks assigned to the ServiceNow development team
Act as a resource and contributor for cross training more junior developers
Act as a change agent for IT transformation by building applications to promote process based procedures using industry standard best practices such as ITIL as the foundation.
