Java Technical Lead Job in Sopra Banking Software

Roles and Responsibilities:

You will work with the team to define the business problem and determine solution requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring business value and communicating results, making executive presentations, etc. This is an ideal position for an individual with a strong java background, and a passion for Modern design frameworks, so if you are passionate to work on world's leading banking software that is being created using cutting edge technologies, we would like to talk to you.

• You will participate in the design and implementation of essential applications by helping in designing and implementing scalable and lasting technology solutions.
• You need to be an expert in troubleshooting and having good analytical problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are a key to your role.
• You should have hands on experience on quality processes & methodologies used in agile. Also you need to demonstrate expertise and add valuable input throughout the development lifecycle.
• You should be able to develop conceptual understanding of the entire system under development, its business usage technical architecture, performance and functionality related issues.
• You should be an expert in writing code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project. You will get an opportunity to explore alternate technologies and suggest approaches to solve complex problems.

• You would be responsible for handling a small team
• You would be working on Java/J2EE related technologies
• You should be willing to work on any version control tool

Must have:

• Bachelors degree(in Computer Science)/MCA or equivalent with intensive Software Industry experience.
• Expert knowledge on Java, J2EE, JSF, Java Script, SQL, HTML5, Maven, Hibernate
• Experience in Springboot, Microservices
• Experience in any Devops tool like Docker, Kubernetes etc
• Experience in developing web-applications
• Expert troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge in design patterns, can participate in solution architecture and design
• Good written and verbal communication skills Leading, managing, allocate tasks & monitor development progress within team
• Can do attitude
• Able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across different locations

Good to have:

• Banking domain knowledge
• Experience of product development in Agile methodology
