Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical planning & requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect and deliver.
• Serve as a technical lead and mentor. Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
• Develop high-quality software that is performant, scalable, reusable, extensible, secure, supportable, reliable.
• Advanced knowledge of design and application patterns.
• Responsible for the over-all software development life cycle.
• Delivery of High Quality, Scalable and Extensible systems and applications on-time and on-budget.
• Adoption and Evolution of the software engineering practices and tools within the organization.
• Keep in sync with the latest technology developments and open source offerings. Evaluate and adopt them for solving business problem of organization.
• Collaborate with other technology and business teams within the organization to provide efficient robust solutions to the problems.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Experience in defining solution architecture for large enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, JBoss, Spark, AWS EMR, AWS Lambda, Redshift, Oracle, Kafka, Microservices, ESBs, Open Source products, and strong working knowledge of SOA, Business Process Choreography, and JSON.
• Experience in presenting application architecture to the business and other architects.
• Expert in Object Oriented design methodologies, design patterns, Messaging, and Transaction Management.
• Extensive experience in Web Technologies such as Html 5, CSS 3, jQuery, AngularJS, and ReactJS. Experience in Android development is a plus.
• Strong command on Java/J2EE concepts, Web Services (SOAP/REST), Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Experience in implementing Web services Security using WS-Security, SAML, Kerberos and integrating with Identity provides, LDAP and ADFS.
• Strong knowledge on design and integration patterns specially in applications involving Portals/SSO, legacy applications, B2B Applications, external partners using ESB.
• Timely creation of appropriate technical artifacts e.g. Application Architecture, Database Schema, Sequence diagrams, Class diagrams, etc.
• Interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of virtual teams that deliver quality services.
• Technical presentation to the clients architects.
• Familiar with supporting peer teams and responsibilities such as infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, info security.
• Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Java Architect certification is a plus. Working with USA/European clients is a plus.
