Responsibilities

• Software Engineering

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, secure and fault tolerant systems with minimal guidance

• Collaborate with team members on functional and nonfunctional requirements, consolidate the design philosophy and improve the coding practices

• Research new technologies, tools and practices that enable building the next generation of our services

• Product Development

• Coordinate with different engineering and product teams, through tools like Figma & Clickup, to plan and execute on the feature roadmap

• Create products aimed at delivering excellent user experience across different platforms and browsers

• Deliver maintainable code with provisions for customisations and A/B testing

• Regularly assess product impact and performance through tools like Google Analytics and Lighthouse

Qualifications

• Software Engineering

• Should have 2+ years of experience of designing, developing and maintaining React based applications

• Should have 3-4 years of hands on experience in developing large scale applications using Javascript frameworks

• Possess in-depth working knowledge of Javascript concepts, REST APIs and asynchronous programming

• Familiarity with browser developer tools and well-versed with performance optimization

• Good understanding of functional programming paradigm and UI architecture patterns

• Experience with testing frameworks like JEST, modern auth mechanisms and server-side rendering through libraries like NextJS
  
  

• Product Development

• Ability to scope, review and refine user stories for technical completeness and to alleviate dependency risks.

• Well versed in working with agile methodologies which includes phases such as design, development, code review, testing and release management

• Ability to have worked in a CI/CD environment, with hands on experience with Git or any similar source code management tools

• Continuously refactor applications to ensure high quality design and improvement on SLAs

• Experience with Error monitoring tools like Sentry
