  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, and databases.
  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Object-Oriented Design: Strong object-oriented design and coding skills, especially in C/C++ and/or Java on Unix/Linux platforms.
  • Distributed Systems: Experience with distributed systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
  • Optimization: Knowledge of optimization mathematics, such as linear programming and nonlinear optimization.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
