Sr. Data Analyst/Power BI Developer

SmartSense Solutions is looking for seasoned Data Analyst/Power BI Developer with demonstrated knowledge of visualization BI technologies, AAS and Power BI to join the team and help build innovative products.

As an ambitious Data Analyst/Power BI Developer, you will require the ability to derive strong insights and deliver decision support across multiple channels - Search, Email, Display, Amazon

Must have:

• Working knowledge of visualization BI technologies, AAS and Power BI
• Experience in working with database systems
• Candidate should have successfully completed your studies in the field of data analytics / business intelligence / digital marketing or with a comparable qualification
• Candidate should have practical experience in the field of web analysis and e-commerce appropriate for the position
• Experienced in managing Business Intelligence solutions (reports, dashboards, scorecards) using Power BI and MS SSAS in a data warehousing environment.
• Exposure to design and implementation of ETL processes;
• Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).
• Advanced knowledge of and OLAP/MOLAP technologies and dimensional modeling, including applicability to various reporting problems
• Candidate should have a strong analytical and structured mindset and a high affinity for numbers
• Candidate should have a technical understanding of common tools (e.g. DataStudio, Power BI, Google Analytics)
• Communicate honestly, naturally and transparently. Strong communication skills and write English well
• Candidate should have a strong understanding of the full range of online marketing channels, how they work, how they can be integrated and how to evaluate them
• Candidate should have the ability to derive strong insights and deliver decision support across multiple channels - Search, Email, Display, Amazon

Responsibilities:

• Break the technical specification into development plan
• BI Report development, deployment, and maintenance
• Document application data flow
• Create technical documentation for BI tools
• You take over the e-commerce data analysis and bring it to the next level
• You set up systems, merge existing data, in short, you create an infrastructure to learn everything from our e-commerce data
• You love details and are passionate about understanding our customers
• You will require to create and analyse complex reports and dashboards, for example on sales performance, site traffic, conversion rates or loading speeds
• You create tracking concepts in order to be able to measure user behaviour at the relevant points and then provide data-based recommendations for action
• You are the contact person for all relevant data and work with colleagues to make data useful
• Will be responsible for the data behind any A/B tests
• Should help us build a culture of data-driven decision making
• Using source data to generate reports as per requirement
• Evaluating and improving existing reporting systems
• Partnering with source teams to conduct troubleshooting sessions
• Maintaining performance and stability of BI systems
• Generating and delivering quality reports to customers and performing quality assurance checks on reports
• Deep skills in data architecture, data profiling and data cleansing processes
