Description

• Understand business needs and develop solutions that delight consumers and customers
• Demonstrate your technical abilities and contribute to our overall architecture; in areas within the business's eco-system of inter-dependent technology where there isn't an architecture; take it, own it, drive it
• Help define and implement the Application Architecture Standards; and help implement it in multi-functional alignment with the teams that exist across functions, like Marketing, Finance, HR etc.
• Provide leadership during application design and development for highly complex or critical projects across numerous lines of business and shared technology. Ensure alignment to enterprise architecture and usage of enterprise platforms when delivering projects
• Understand Agile artifacts; interact regularly with users to gather feedback, listen to their issues and concerns, and recommend solutions Build and lead high-performing teams focused on Architecture and Architectural standards to provide Technology as a Service Building, maintaining and demonstrating partnership with 3rd parties like Stanford Labs, Microsoft Research, and Google Labs to be at the cutting edge of technologies
• Provide oversight for budgets and project plans, and manage technology risks and issues
• Partner with your peers within the organization and build multi-functional alignment

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting complex solutions 5+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry
• Experience defining technology standards for an organization
• Experience with architecture frameworks, including design patterns, distributed applications, Azure Well-Architected Framework, AWS Well-Architected Framework, C4 Model, etc, with the aim of reuse
• Experience architecting microservices, containerization, and event-driven architecture
• Experience architecting Identity & Access Management, including Active Directory, Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity, and SAML
• Experience with the full Azure stack; exposure to AWS, GCP and other cloud platforms is a plus
• Experience with programming technologies, including .NET Core, C#, Java, Python, Kafka, Storm
• Experience with Data technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, BigData, R, and GraphQL
• Experience with front-end technologies, including Angular, Node, React, etc. Experience with enterprise Devops, including SSDLC, performance, observability, and high availability
• Background in agile software development and scaled agile frameworks A true believer in measuring success based on working software and in quick prototyping
• Someone who still codes and can spin up a snippet of code quickly
• Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute innovative digital product, combined with tactical ability to execute simultaneously against multiple competing priorities
• Someone with an iterative approach, drive to move fast and think big
• Experience managing internal and external teams at the same time, working with multiple brands and digital properties of varying maturities
• Demonstrated ability to partner and communicate effectively with non-technical team members, resolving competing or contradictory objectives, and unifying disparate ideas into a homogenized solution
• Ability to be versatile and handle multiple projects and re-prioritizations
• Possess the ability to influence others, implement change, and standardize processes in a complex business environment
• A passion for mentoring and growing the potential of others
• Ability to effectively and appropriately interview technical candidates
• Passion for Automation and hunger for Acceleration; Keen knowledge of DevOps as well as RPA is a big plus Superb communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Ability to translate ideas into solutions based on user and business needs
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and bring new ideas to the table
