Principal Accountabilities/ Job Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring accounting controls for proper periodic (monthly) closure of accounts in SAP environment.
Reporting of P&L, Balance sheet and other Corporate MIS Internal reporting to Management as well as to Head office.
Ensuring compliance with SOPs - Business , Accounting and SAP related SOPs need compliance.
Responsible for ensuring accounting controls over - Account Receivables, Fixed Assets and Inventory in the regions, plants and terminals
Preparation of Profitability statements, cost statements, analysis of business performance
Responsible for monitoring of cost, ensure controls with respect to cost budget and implement effective cost management practices.
Responsible for maintaining an effective Management Information System, well integrated with SAP to support the regional business plans and strategy.
Develop performance monitoring system to provide effective review of business performance
Coordinate with several cross functional teams for exercising financial controls.
Reporting and measuring functional performance against key performance indicators in accordance with the agreed SLAs
Responsibility for the delivery of training to team members on reconciliation best practice
Working knowledge on GST;
Ensuring timely reconcilement status, ageing reports and KPIs are sent to the appropriate management groups
Assist in handling Year end closing activity and Statutory Audits
Experience of working in ERP environment working knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
