Engineer/lead Engineer, Pcb Design Job in Sedemac Mechatronics Pvt Ltd

Job Description:

• PCB Layout from scratch for Automotive and Industrial Products.
• Capture Schematics based on inputs from Hardware Engineers.
• Create and maintain PCB component libraries within the PCB CAD and PLM server systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical designers to ensure integrity of mechanical and thermal design aspects.
• Work experience on modules like DC-DC Converters, RF Transceiver, Bridge Drivers preferred.
• Collaborate with the Manufacturing Team to address DFM/DFA issues.
• Undertake multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, managing your own time to deliver according to project milestones.
• Qualification of bare boards with support from Hardware/Mechanical/Proto/Validation Teams
• Coordinate with PCB manufacturers to clarify design requirements and resolve problems encountered during manufacturing of the bare boards.
• Should have sufficient knowledge of PCB standards of IPC-2221/IPC- 2222,IPC-7351, IPC-A-600, IPC-2152.
• Responsible for complete documentation packages including layout, fabrication & assembly drawings.

Required experience and skills:

• Knowledge of Analogue ,Digital and communication circuit design including microprocessors/microcontrollers,
• Knowledge of SMPS design, DC-DC convertor, LDO
• Knowledge of Schematic capture, PCB and simulation using LT spice, Orcad, Pspice or similar.
• Knowledge of Power Electronics, thermal Design and BLDC motor Control
• Knowledge about quality tools like 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Why-Why analysis
• Understanding of part and product reliability
• RF Design (optional) applicable for RF projects only
• Application knowledge of Safety, EMI/ EMC standards
• Experience in managing a complete design cycle (specification, development, validation)
• Experience of high volume and cost sensitive product hardware design
• Hardware functional testing and testing equipment.
• Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skill

Desired Technical Skills

• Experience in designing PCBs
• Strong fundamental knowledge of PCBs in all aspects is essential
• Sound knowledge of PCB design tools like Eagle, Mentor PADS is required.
• Knowledge of High power design(High Voltage and Current), High speed designs.
• Must know concepts of DFM, DFA,DFT, Mechanical aspect of PCB Design.
