Job Summary The Regional Security Manager (RSM) is responsible for overseeing physical security operations for critical infrastructure across multiple facilities within a $100M global client account. The RSM ensures compliance with security procedures, tracks audit readiness, and provides leadership to Campus Security Managers (CSMs) and Security Team Managers (STMs) at geographically dispersed locations. The RSM works closely with management, the client, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery, playing a key role in ensuring that all security requirements are met or exceeded. The role reports directly to the Regional Director of Security Operations. Essential Functions: Recruit, hire, and manage CSMs, supporting their recruitment and management efforts. Oversee the operation of security systems at the site level, ensuring timely project and task completion. Verify compliance with security policies, procedures, standards, and best practices. Support regulatory, industry, and contractual audits (ISO 27001, SAS 70, FISMA, PCI, etc.). Manage and review security reports; collaborate with personnel to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Provide detailed security management and status updates to client management and key stakeholders. Communicate issues and offer solutions to the client management team. Develop, maintain, and improve security-related processes, procedures, and training plans. Document and improve workflows to enhance efficiency. Keep management informed of major accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Work across internal and external groups to overcome challenges and deliver solutions. Collaborate with other RSMs to create models ensuring high levels of accountability and consistency. Coordinate with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Identify new initiatives and contribute to long-term strategy and goals. Perform other duties as required, ensuring safety practices and professional conduct are followed at all times. Minimum Hiring Standards: Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable communication (e.g., mobile phone) and transportation. Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver s license. Legal right to work in the country of residence. Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. High school diploma required. Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening (drug screen and background check). Education and Experience: Bachelor s degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate security, military, or law enforcement, with a focus on security operations and managerial experience. Professional certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) preferred. Experience in data center security preferred. Special Requirements: Must have a current passport or the ability to obtain one. Ability to travel internationally or domestically, approximately 50% of the time, sometimes on short notice. Availability to work evening or weekend hours during emergencies or crises. Competencies: Strong leadership and analytical skills for planning, problem-solving, and review. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Expertise in security management and operations. Professional demeanor with the ability to contribute independently to security operations. In-depth understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) operations and procedures. Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands: Must pass background checks, drug testing, and meet licensing requirements. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including climbing stairs and uneven terrain. Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information. Availability 24/7 for emergency security-related situations.
Qualification :
Bachelors degree in Business, Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
