Position :Director - Hardware EngineeringCompany : A Software MNC - Having its own mobile handset product.(the name would be disclosed once we speak to you )Experience : 10 + YearsSkills :10+ years of experience with 6 years in mobile device designProven technical leadership record in transceiver design and integration with good understanding of digital and audio design requirements for high volume handsetsPrior experience should include leading a team of engineers on a relevant design project, and optimizing radiated performance of a portable radio systemKnowledge of either: CDMA, AMPS, GSM or GPS RF circuits, subsystems, and test equipmentAbility to work in a cross-functional environmentStrong RF subsystem, circuit analysis, and optimization skills and a commitment to driving all design details/issues to closureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent troubleshooting skills and strong knowledge of test equipmentExcellent presentation skills and ability to multi taskJob Location :Bangalore
Minimum Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads team of talented engineers through all phases of the projectEffectively communicates the plans, schedules, and status to PE and other team membersAnticipates, identifies and solves hardware engineering issuesOversees board layout and placementMentors and coaches junior hardware team membersManages each phase of CDMA mobile hardware development from concept through deliveryWrites and/or implements tests and simulation plans. Develops test procedures and design documentationIndependently debugs and integrates analog and digital circuitsCoordinates with other engineering groups including CAD, Configuration Management, Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Software and SystemsPerforms tradeoff studies involved with modifying/optimizing current products and/or manufacturing processesPerforms qualification and integration testing of recently redesigned circuit cards, modules, and/or components; and evaluates performance against predicted results and documents the test resultsWrite designs and/or manufacturing documentation and presents at design and/or product reviewsResponsible for layout reviewsDevelops and/or supports high-efficiency power supply circuits including battery charging, power regulation, and power management circuitsSelect components and develop schematics and responsible for schematic capturesResponsible for other duties as assigned
