Job Purpose:

Architect
As the most experienced and knowledgeable in their field of expertise, an Architect takes technical ownership of the project, enabling and influencing technological advancement of projects/organization in a chosen domain. The incumbent owns and contributes to the high level design, architecture, test strategy, proposals etc. for existing as well as prospective customer projects.

Prinicipal Engineer
As the most knowledgeable in a specific area of technology or sub-module, s/he is responsible for providing technical expertise in this area to other project(s), leads the specification of complex customer project requirements and give input e.g. on project quality assurance

Project Manager
Project Manager role is responsible to Plan, Execute and Deliver projects on time, within budget, with desired quality by adhering to processes while ensuring the desired ESAT/CSAT.

Architect
Person at this position owns architecture/ design of a sub-system (a set of modules or a product), formulates new solution and ideas and produces new or original work.
Person demonstrates the ability to justify a stand or decision supported by sound technical knowledge base.
Person is able to the represent the organization externally in detailed technical discussion with the customer with a high level of authority on technical matters.
Person leads projects which are of significant organisational profile and makes trade-off decisions to deliver solutions that both meet customer's technical requirements and timelines.
Person demonstrates the ability to analyse and interpret complex problems and improve, change or adapt existing methods to solve the problem.

Project Manager
Person at this position owns delivery of project(s) to customer(s) ensuring estimated/plan timeline and quality requirements are met.
Person leads projects which are of significant organisational profile and makes trade-off decisions to deliver solutions that both meet customer's technical requirements and timelines.
Person at this position should be able to ensure high and effective customer engagement level.

Key Accountabilities of the Role:

Architect
Responsible for providing Architecture/ high level design/ test strategy for the existing projects and new proposals.
Responsible for identification and evaluation of various tools, test languages or test methodologies and choosing the best ones.
Responsible for participating in Customer interaction for major/critical change requests/new features, moderating the meetings and highlighting impact on schedule and effort.
Responsible for reviewing Design Documents and code, Test coverage and its alignment with technical objectives.
Responsible for leading the specification of complex customer requirements in one's own area of expertise.,
Responsible for leading/ participating in technical reviews to ensure quality parameters are being met.
Responsible for contribution to RFP/Documentation/complete responsibility for proposal relating to growth in existing accounts/effort estimation for new proposals.
Expected to deliver tech talks and write technical papers in internal and external forums.
Expected to contribute to technical capability development of organisation through subject matter expertise.
Expected to keep self-updated on trends, new developments, tools etc. in one's own area of expertise and proactively share the knowledge.

Prinicipal Engineer
Responsible for ensuring that both functional and non-functional (e.g. performance, scalability, security) requirements will be met or exceeded
Responsible for providing Architecture/ high level design/ test strategy for the existing projects and new proposals for a specific technology area or a sub-system.
Responsible for identification and evaluation of various tools, test languages or test methodologies and choosing the best ones for a specific technology area or a sub-system.

Project Manager
Responsible for project initiation and planning, project monitoring and control, process adherence and improvements and quality assurance.
Responsible for timely and qualitative delivery of projects as per the estimate/ plan while continously working towards improving the delivery performance of the projects.
Responsible for Risk Management Risk mitigation and constant identification of new risks & planning of mitigation for them.
Responsible for staffing the project team with employees having the right profile as per the requirement of the project.
Responsible for creating and implementing effective customer engagement process and effective escalation management process.
Responsible for providing inputs on project plan, effort estimation, project risks, technology selections and quality requirements.
Responsible for creating project ramp down risk mitigation plan.
Responsible for ensuring compliance to organizational processes such as Goal setting, assessment, feedback and development plans for team members.
Responsible for addressing team's and employee's issues and concerns.
Expected to mentor and plan trainings for employee's capability development.
