Pricing Lead Analyst Job in Sapwood Venture

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Accountability :

Pricing and Deal Modeling/Shaping

• Deploy best in-class pricing analytics, models and research methods to analyze/test
• Customer and Product Portfolio segmentation
• Price leakage
• Demand elasticity
• Demand forecasting
• Price testing
• Cross-sell recommendations
• Contract Structures
• Rebate/Discounting methods

Analytic Models & Dashboard Automation/Optimization

• Develop, optimize and manage BU analytics models (calculators, P&L models, price models etc.) and create and optimize dashboards for BU and corporate management
• Perform analysis for monthly reporting of pricing performance for various parts of the global business
• Automate the reporting and dashboards

Pricing performance monitoring and reporting: Work with regional pricing teams to

• Report pricing performance capture on at least a monthly basis along with insights and recommendations to track against business plan for each business globally
• Create price forecast based on the price plan.
• Devise automated methods for capturing pricing performance when data logging and extraction is manual due to system limitations
• Develop professional reports, presentations and dashboards for senior executives

Education : Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering necessary. MS or Certificate courses in analytics preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant quantitative analytics experience.
• Leadership Capabilities: Must have proven capability in the following - Team Builder, People Developer, Planning & Execution Facilitator, Relationship Builder, and Business Expert.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment, dealing with conflicting requests, and prioritizing work requests.

Knowledge

• Deep knowledge of advanced analytics methods (machine learning) and ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
• Strong knowledge and experience of analytical tools such as R, Python, SQL, Excel etc. Knowledge of SAP would be a bonus.
• Strong remote working capabilities voice, video and web conferencing, instant messaging and other online collaboration tools
