Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities

Location : Pune Preferred (Bangalore/Chennai/Kolkata is also okay)


Detailed JD Below :

  • Experience in setting up Hadoop cluster (CDH/HDP), Monitoring and Performance Tuning of all components (Hive, HDFS, Spark, Kerberos, Zookeeper, KDC, EMR) of the Hadoop cluster.
  • Good in managing the cluster using Cloudera manager or Ambari and accommodating High availability with ease.
  • Provisioning & tuning of resources based on demand and setting the policies respectively. Should have worked on dynamic & static resources pool.
  • Taking care of role based access control using Sentry/Ranger for defined groups of users in the same cluster. Thorough knowledge in Kerberos (AD/MIT) and handling user access effectively in the cluster
  • Troubleshooting, thorough triaging with logs, resolving the issues on proactive mode and maintain the cluster in healthy state
  • Experienced in cluster & services upgradation, custom parcel distribution etc.
  • Strong experience working in AWS cloud environment. Deployment & configuration of Hadoop cluster in AWS EC2.
  • Design and development of automation scripts using Terraform / Cloud Formation
  • Redeploy custom services to EKS / EBS by updating EMR configuration
  • Strong DevOps orientation with a good understanding and experience of job / task scheduling, management, monitoring, performance troubleshooting etc.
  • Responsible for front-ending and leading all interactions with development / engineering teams (data engineers / data analysts / data scientists) and infrastructure operations teams (Security, AWS, DC Ops)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of big data management, storage, backup, restore and other big data preparation / data pipeline mechanisms.
