Role Purpose

The Presales Expert possesses expert level knowledge of SAP CX or equivalent CRM software solutions and domain expertise. She/He would participate in sales cycles as a member of the virtual account team in support of the sales and account strategy.

A Presales Expert interacts with prospective customers through executive meetings, drives thought leadership, develops conversation with a transformation mindset and delivers executive presentations. In addition to deal support, a Presales Expert in conjunction with sales and Industry Business teams would plan and execute business development strategies.

Responsibilities:

Deal Support:

  • Compose and deliver high impact business presentation to CXOs across industry domain. The presentations must articulate a strong business value proposition, differentiate SAP, and leave a strong and positive impression.
  • Prepare and deliver value-based software demonstrations/presentations in support of sales cycles. Preparation includes personalization of materials to ensure delivery of a simple, appealing and compelling customer presentation, using techniques such as storytelling.
  • In advance of a demonstration or key presentation, conduct discovery sessions with representatives from the prospective customer to build relationships with the customer and understand their unique needs.
  • Demonstrate deep knowledge of SAP CX or equivalent solutions and appropriate industries in order to maintain credibility with prospective customers. Provide proof points with relevant customer stories.
  • Support RFx completion in support of customer proposals.
  • Ability to effectively present to customers remotely using virtual technologies
  • Provide post-sale support to key customers primarily to the project/implementation team to ensure a smooth transition and subsequent go-live
  • Effectively leverage vast SAP ecosystem support teams such as Global / Regional Solution Specialists, CoE, Industry Presales, Product Management etc.

Thought Leadership

  • Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely. Must possess industry expertise in few industries namely manufacturing, automotive, retail and consumer goods.
  • Lead & support innovation driven workshops to promote value adoption and for customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and industry team to identify whitespace opportunities at accounts.

Sales Readiness

  • Develop close relationships with sales teams to promote effective sales methodologies
  • Participate in demo system design and planning and assist in configuration if needed.
  • Serve as a champion for or participate as a leader in Solution Hubs and provide knowledge transfer to colleagues as needed.

Qualification

  • Bachelor or MBA equivalent10+ years of presales experience of which a minimum of 5 years must have been spent on CRM technologies
  • Demonstrates 5-7 successful engagements leading to large transformational deals
  • Expert knowledge/expertise on end to end processes/solution matching
  • Experience in sales and sales processes

The location is open across Mumbai or Gurgoan
