Job Description
As an Automation Design Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated equipment and systems to improve manufacturing processes. You will work closely with production teams to understand their needs and develop automation solutions that increase efficiency, reduce cost, and improve product quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated systems, including robotics, sensors, and control systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop automation solutions
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for automation
- Create detailed design specifications and documentation for automated systems
- Test and validate automated systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability standards
- Provide technical support to production teams for the installation and maintenance of automated systems
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in automation technology
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards for automated equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical, electrical, or automation engineering
- 3+ years of experience in automation design and development
- Strong knowledge of automation technologies, including robotics, PLC programming, and control systems
- Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modeling automated systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
