Job Summary

Description Salesforce, a global leader in enterprise IT, is looking for a Senior Systems Specialist to join our growing Business Technology - Employee Success (HR) team. This is a hybrid role where one would spend time configuring, developing, and testing Workday functionalities along with Workday operations. You must have a solid background in Workday with hands-on experience Workday and a good understanding of industry best practices. You will be responsible for configuration and testing through all phases of the development lifecycle. In addition to Workday expertise, the individual should have knowledge of manually testing and knowledge to leverage automation tools like Kainos. Job Duties and Responsibilities Deliver Workday projects and enhancements to support our existing Workday implementation, covering both functional and technical aspects in DevOps model Support the Workday Operations including incident management, Bi-annual upgrades and maintenance activities. Exercise discretion and judgment with little to no supervision in carrying out daily tasks. Contribute to enhancing and refinement of requirements by working with Business, product owners, technical leads and provide recommendations on the nature, scope and complexity of solutions and closely work with 3rd party integrators. Develop Workday solutions, Custom Reports and support Integrations using EIB, Connectors, and/or other available methods. Participate in and contribute to configuration/ code reviews. Build test automation that is effective, scalable, and maintainable using tools such as Kainos Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution. Ensure product quality meets stakeholder expectations and is responsible for creating test plans, test cases, test execution, and defect reporting. Required Skills/Experience: Bachelor s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or relevant experience. 5+ years of proven experience in Workday (Implementation or support) with good experience of Workday HR modules. Workday Pro/Partner certification in Workday HCM, Comp or Benefits or Advance Compensation. Working knowledge of Workday Security framework, Business Processes, Reports, Calc Fields Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions and processes - Sound understanding of interdependencies between various systems and downstream impacts Good Understanding of Integrations framework - SFTP, File Encryption and Connectors. Well-versed with Workday Community and latest features/enhancements of Workday Releases. Experience in defining test strategy, test plans and defect reporting for Workday or other enterprise HR software applications. Ability to effectively communicate status and risk to the team and manager Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology. Desired Skills: Experience in global Workday implementation/ support especially in Compensation & Benefits modules for North America , EMEA, APAC countries Workday Pro/Partner certification in Workday Integrations, with working knowledge on Integrations framework, Studio and BIRT. Experience of working on other Workday modules/ technology like Recruiting, Talent, Payroll and Workday Extend Advance experience in working as part of a Scrum team practicing Agile development methodologies. High level knowledge of Salesforce platform or Mulesoft Cloud hub is a huge plus.
