Job Description
Responsible for the P&L, strategy & vision, and business requirements for Airports products. This role will report directly to the product management leader for Sabre In-flight and Airport solution, working in a matrixed organization to drive business results. Responsible for scope, roadmap prioritization, business case and end to end product life cycle management.
Job Responsibilities:
Product subject-matter expert (SME) inside scrum teams
Scrum team stories, acceptance criteria, backlog creation, refinement, prioritization
Functional documentation
Acceptance/sign-off of team stories at completion
Demos (internal or external, as needed)
Additional Tasks Include:
Analyze, triage and troubleshoot maintenance issues in JIRA
Provide day-to-day support to scrum teams
Translate customer requirements and product roadmap to manageable Rally backlog
Act as primary point of contact for scope elaboration
Be involved throughout all stages of a products lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line
Collaborate primarily with scrum teams, product manager, and other stakeholders as necessary, to deliver the products within the timeline and budget
Job Requirements
Experince in travel/aviation domain
System thinking, engineering rigor, technical acumen, storytelling and story mapping
Technical writing, documentation experience (schemas, functional specs, others)
Understanding of Agile/Scrum teams and software development lifecycle process
Ability to perform business systems analysis; explain and document complex requirements in a clear, concise manner
Job Requirements
EDUCATION: Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Master preferred
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years related experience; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization. Exceptional product management, problem solving and decision- making capabilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, meet deadlines, ensure quality and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, service- oriented environment.
