Job Summary
- Understand users business needs and requirements
- Analyze business requirements of assigned project(s) Installation, configuration, and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products.
- Evaluate Oracle features and Oracle-related products.
- Maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures.
- Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges).
- Follow and maintain documentation and standards Planning for growth and changes (capacity planning).
- Work as part of a team and provide 7x24 support when required.
- Assist in general technical troubleshooting Familiarity of Application Foundation and AD utilities used for maintenance.
- Familiarity with Concurrent Management and aspects related to application troubleshooting Assist Consultant in designing/formatting training materials.
- Learn to troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure. Understand the concepts of effective delegation.
- Patch Management and Version Control. Learn the analytical, communication/written/Interpersonal skills.
- Responsible for reporting daily tasks by updating Task Tracking Sheets or other mechanisms provided by the company.
- Preferable: Exposure to Database & Applications Upgrades OEM Standby/Data guard config and maintenance 10gAS/Demantra/OBIEE/DMZ/SSO Workflow configuration and troubleshooting APPS Sysadmin
- Good Documentation Skills Presentation/Teaching Skills good exposure to 24*7 international production support process
